Now is the time to come together and support the candidates who are fighting so hard to bring integrity, climate action, and real representation to our government.
With the election now set for May, independent campaigns are facing a longer, more expensive campaign. The major parties have the resources to run marathons and remain competitive. Independents have you.
That’s why Fairground, a philanthropic fund that supports innovators in climate justice and democracy, has agreed to match up to $1 million in donations between now and election day.
That means for every dollar you donate, independents will get two.
First up: making sure community independents can make the most of their greatest asset. We’ll be equipping their volunteer armies with shirts, hats, yard signs and flyers so they can get the word out in their communities.
🐶 $50 → $100 = 20 dog bandanas, because even pups can help spread the word.
📢 $100 → $200 = 2,000 flyers flyers to promote campaign events.
🪧 $500 → $1,000 = 100 yard signs turning front lawns into billboards for change.
🎽 $1,000 → $2,000 = 100 campaign t-shirts for volunteers hitting the streets.
🙌 $6,100 → $12,200 = a mobile billboard for a volunteer to drive around the electorate.
So chip in today, and let's help level the playing field for independents this election.

We are very excited to support Climate 200 and strongly agree with their goals for action on climate, integrity, and diversity. After meeting the team at Climate 200, we know that they will make sure that every dollar donated is well-targeted and will make a real difference in getting more independent voices into Parliament.
We are proud to support Climate 200 in its mission to support local communities and their independent candidates fighting for action on climate change, equality and integrity. We need our political representation to respond to the concerns of its citizens. We know we are better together and hope you join us in this push for a safe climate and fairer future for all.
We’re frustrated and embarrassed with the lack of meaningful action at the federal level in Australia to address the Climate Emergency. We strongly feel there is a need for more people in the federal government that have the integrity and the independence to act in the interests of future generations. Please join us in supporting the work being done by Climate 200 at this pivotal point.
